How buying works
- Choose Buy now or make an offer. The seller confirms the price and terms with you by email.
- The seller opens an Escrow.com transaction. You check the terms there and pay Escrow.com directly. The Escrow.com fee is split equally between buyer and seller (fee calculator).
- Once Escrow.com confirms your payment is secured, the seller moves the domain to your registrar account.
- When you confirm you control the domain, or Escrow.com verifies it, Escrow.com releases the payment to the seller.

Tickets now, legal now: each name tells a customer what to do and when. Amazon Registry opened .now to everyone on 30 September 2024 and describes it as “timing-specific branding”. It works as a product name, an app address or the address for a campaign.
